How Can You Get Something Off Of Your Background Check ?

Five years ago I was charged with petty theft, but it is totally blown out of proportion. I was trying on thing at a little gift shop and talking with the owner and forgot about the watch I had on. I told the lady I was going next door and I would be in again. When I can out from the other door I was met by Police, they ask about the item; I was so embarrassed,I said I was sorry offered to pay but she said she was going to make an example of me.

You can in some states do what is called freeze your record. But it costs quite a bit of money. You want to make sure everything is on it before you do it because you wouldn't want to pay for this more than once.

Wow, good luck with that. The only way to get rid of that would be if you paid a big-time lawyer (who had connections) some big bucks, so that he could pull a few strings. But since it is likely that you don't have the big bucks or don't know the proper lawyer, you are stuck with your backround check.
