Why Does The Mother Cat Keep Moving The 4 Week Old Kittens All Over The House?

Answer Question

She is moving them so they will not be disturbed. Are the kittens being touched or looked at often?
Mother kitty is trying to keep them safe. She needs to be assured that her kittens are not going to get hurt or taken yet. Make sure to mother kitty attention now too.

Try to set up an area that's out of the way of household traffic and other animals. She is feeling insecure about their safety and trying to get them somewhere where she feels they'll be safe. You can still visit and check health and things like that. There's too much going on for her wherever she is. If you have a large kennel you can put in a quiet room those work pretty well usually (you can leave the door open). They don't feel so much like the kittens are exposed and in danger.
