I Make More Than Minimum Wage Now, So Will The Wage Hike Help Me?

I am a fast food employee that went from 5.65 to 7.50 and that took me 4 years. So now that minimum wage has went up .70 am I intitled to that raise also, by law?

    Im not sure but I doubt it, being 'minimum', its not applied as a general raise for everyone, only people who were previously earning under a certain level would have to be paid at the new level.

      That depends on your state and your employer. A wage increase generally is determined by job performance. It is determined by the gross profit your employer makes as to whither he can afford a raise or not. Remember a raise in pay is a privilege and not a right.
