The most famous art gallery in Birmingham is the 'Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery' which is close to the Chamberlian Square. This art gallery displays huge collections of archaelogical findings like natural history, ceramics, social history, ethnography. The hall adjacent to it also hosts a lot of exhibitions on similar subjects. There is no entrance fee for this museum; except for some exhibitions that are held in the Gas Hall.
Another famous art gallery is the Barber Institue of Fine Arts, this is a concert hall as well. In 2004, it was awarded the Gallery of the Year award by Good Britain Guide. This museum is home to some of the most famous works by Vincent van Gogh and Pablo Picasso displayed. And for people who are fascinated about coins, it also has a huge collection of coins.
