You need to plug it into the input s-video port of one device, and plug the other end of the lead to the output port of the other device you want to hook up together. Don't forget the audio cables if you need sound.

I have just bought an s-video lead from my local electronic store and when i get home and try and connect my laptop to my tv there is no signal and it doesnt seem to connect do i need to dowload somthing first ? Please advise needed :)
