I Recently Got Staph. I'm Taking My Antibiotics. When Is It Safe To Get A Tattoo?

Made a appointment for tattoo before the staph. Decided to wait on the tattoo until all my meds. Have been taking. But I'm not sure if it's to soon.

As you are having staphylococcus bacterial infection, the new tattoo can be infected with this bacteria and can also infect the person who is tattooing and his equipments. That is why you are asked to use the medicines to treat it first. You have not mentioned which form of antibiotic you are using, either topical or systemic. The topical application can take 10 days to treat the staph infection and injectable antibiotics can take 10 days. So when you are free from infection, you can get tattooed.
