I'm sorry I can't give you a total figure (no pun intended) but my father use to sell industrial sewing machines to clothing manufacturers.
Considering that a pair of pants, Including material and labor cost the plant about $4-$5 for that one pair. The manufacturer can sew a designer's name that contracted them to make these pants and a clothing store can sell these pants for $100. The mark up is incredible.
