    The term 'psychology' was coined from two Greek words 'psyche' means soul and 'logy' means study. Psychology is an applied science that attributes to the understanding of different mental processes in accordance with overt behaviour, attitude, personality in general. The study of psychology focuses on the factors such as cognition, emotion, perception, personality, behaviour and interpersonal relationships. Human psychology, in particular, includes the analysis of human activity in relation to daily problems encountered in individual as well as community settings and in the treatment of various mental disorders. Human psychology is an attempt to explain the interrelationship between consciousness, behaviour and social interaction. In modern days, the scope of research concerning human psychology covers various interconnected fields such as biological psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, applied psychology, abnormal psychology, neuropsychology, physiological psychology etc.
