My Son Has Ring Worm, What Can I Use For It?

Answer Question

I suggest you have him seen by your doctor, the doctor and prescribed some thing to get rid of it.  You may also call your local pharmacy in the mean while and talk to the pharmacist and see if there is something he/she can suggest in the mean time to help your son.  Good luck.

Ringworm is a fungus. And while I am not a doctor, I lived on a farm my whole life and have dealt with this situation.  Many over the counter fungus creams like for jock itch, or foot fungus will work well if it is a mild case of just a few mild spots. It should go away in about a week. Still, I would have it looked at by the doc just to be sure this is what it is before treating.
