Is E-mailing Free? If Not What Is The Cost For Sending An E-mail?

    Hi Vatsa,

    Sending email is free provided you have a computer and an internet connection. There are many websites that provide email account for free like yahoo, gmail etc. You just need to register and send mail.

    Basically once you have internet access, sending email is "no additional cost to you", but it's not exactly "free." The cost for network access is paid by your internet provider, and you've most likely paid them, so the cost to send your email is already paid for. But say, you were sending a huge volume of emails, or sending some other type of high volume data, then you would have to pay an additional amount over what a non-commercial user pays. Most internet fees for home use are based on an "unlimited" access, but only up to a certain point. Then commercial rates apply.
