Will It Grow?
Grinded up lattices or spinach in water, will this help algae to grow?

I have no idea. I would imagine it would form mold and that would get get in the air and could be a problem. If you don't get your answer here, ask one of your neighbors whom has a green thumb. Good luck.

A warmer water condition with very little water movement. Does not need a lot of sun. Should grow algae pretty quickly. I have never heard of needing to add anything to create algae.
