Does Moghul Khan And Genghis Khan Part Of A One Family?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

From my research: 'khan' has two applications: 1) it is a muslim family name and 2) it is a title, meaning ruler, used in the turkish and mongol empires. I could not find anything at all of a 'moghul khan'. You might mean 'mughul', which was an empire (16th - 19th centuries) covering what is modern india and some land to the north. Fyi: 1 of 3 (or 5, not sure - it's one or the other) people living in todays mongolia are direct descendants of genghis khan! For more information go to wikipedia.org. Research: Mughul empire and genghis khan. Have fun!
