    In the north-east of Cheshire you will find a borough that can be attributed the name called Macclesfield. It is mainly a rural area and consist s of several small towns and the notable among them along with Macclesfield are Wilmslow, Knutsford and Poynton.

    The area of the borough is 200 square miles and the population is approximately 150,000.

    The borough is considered as one of the wealthiest one in the country of the United Kingdom and the reason for its thriving economy is said to be its well-educated workforce. But it is not only the workforce but it also has some natural advantages. We can cite the example of the Peak District National Park which makes the setting of the area quite attractive and many big firms have chosen to make their headquarters in the area. The main companies include Barclay bank, AstraZeneca and Royal London.
