It was the language which was used in the Roman Empire. It is widely used in all the romance languages of the other world such as French, English and Spanish. Today the language is used rarely in some countries. But the use of the Latin language in some countries is used to get some work from this language which is study the old and historical literature and arts. But this language is taught on very limited level. So the main purpose this language serves is just to teach the people who can use this language to translate and read the literature which is written in the Latin language.

The students who are studying the literature and arts or history just need them to deal with this language. The students after learning the Latin language use this language for studying the arts and culture of the Romans and other history. By using the Latin language these students can help themselves in improving their language. So this is the reason the Latin is taught to the students who have to deal with this Language in future. So still there are many institutions which are teaching Latin language to the students and they can use them further.
