How Did You Happen Across Blurtit?
Were you specifically looking for a Q&A website so you could ask/answer a question or were you just surfing the web and found it?

I was doing a topic search on Google - I don't remember on what - and one of the search results was a question that had been asked/answered on Blurtit. So... I clicked on the search result, ended up here, and haven't stopped typing since... As many others have said, I have found it highly addictive! :)

I was talking to my uncle (jaxson1985)on the phone, and he kept reading questions out loud and answering them, and i asked him what was he doing and he said he was on blurtit, then i typed it up on my computer and got addicted.

I Googled the name of an old friend and an answer from Blurtit popped up as one of the first items. Someone had mentioned his wife's name in his answer and it was the same as the name of my friend, though not the same person. The rest, as they say, is history.

The Independent newspaper ran an article "101 Really Useful Websites", blurtit was one of them. Now I too am an addict, it's going to be really hard when I go back to work - can anyone tell me what withdrawal symptoms to expect?

My dog was sick and I asked a question about what I could give him to help his stomach. Blurtit was one of the search engines. I investigated it some more, and HERE I AM!

I had previously found "answers.com" and from there I somehow stumbled upon Blurtit. I don't even remember what I was searching for on answers.com, but I now find myself checking in frequently. Like many of the above answers, this site is addictive and it is a privilege to be able to use it. Thanks for your question!

I honestly don't remember how I stumbled upon it. I don't usually go surfing, so it probably popped up on Google. All I know is that it got me hooked. I guess I'm a "hookee".

It was back in Febuary.I had just begun to become aware of the world outside of mine,and I had lots of questions to ask,and also had a lot of information to share.I wanted to find a helpful,interesting,varied website.I looked on search.com,and then I found Blurtit!It was the perfect thing!I've been on here for about 8 months now,and its changed a LOT,but I never seem to get board of it!May it continue to flourish in its corner of cyberspace,and help people for ever and ever.

I really wanted a dog (and I still do), and I typed in on Google, "dog web sites", and I don't know why, but it gave me Blurtit. Now I am REALLY ADDICTED. Lol...my brother has an account on here too but he never comes on this site anymore. *sigh* When you think about it, there are a lot of totally great sites. God, the Internet is wonderful!!!

I was looking to see the different information on one subject and I stumbed on this site. I saw that many people have Questions about things that I have information about to help them with.So I have been trying to help. I am writting some books that sometime in the future will be able to help others. This is my first time to a site like this.This site seems to want to help people with the problems that friends many not be able to help with.And it seems that some just what to have fun. That's great. What a wonderful site I have found.

Like most people, I just happened to Google a question (in my case, I was looking for information on Macs vs PCs for music recording). And now, two days later, I STILL have that site open as a tab on my browser and I'm yet to read it... Actually I think I better go and do that. Oh and get some sleep. I've been on here all day...
