Kittens can begin using a litter box at around 4 weeks old. At first, you need to have a smaller box so that it is easy for your little guy/girl to get into. Usually it only takes once or twice of putting kitty into the litter box and gently moving the front paws in a scratching motion in the litter. Make sure the litter box is not near the feeding area and that it is the right size for your cat to comfortably climb in and out. Keep the litter box very clean. Hope this helps.

Well what you need to do is begin to introduce it to the litter box like for example when it begins to go to the bathroom move it and set it in the litter box and try to get him or her used to it. My cats learned at about 2 and a half months but it is not always that way.
