What Will The Navel Infection Look Like?

Infected as hell looks like this --If it is a little red & swollen, its healthy. If it is EXTREMLEY red, bumpy, very swollen, & chunky discharge is coming out. &/OR, if the pain/uncomfortable-ness {[lolz]} is UNBAREABLE -- seek professional help. It may be infected & may have to be taken out immediately. No matter what, good luck with it. Hope it doesn't get infected & stays healthy. & You MUST clean it with alcohol {[or whatever they have you]}

If it is infected DO NOT clean it with alcohol, or any other type of thing like that. It will eat away at your skin. You MUST go to the dr if infected.. They will most likely give you an antibiotic, and also tell you to take the piercing out. Do not do tht. The piercing will obviously close up. If you are very unsure and think its infected id advise going to a professional and letting them look at it.

Red, sore, lil red bump on the inside of the navel, I have a piercing but it has been out for a month! I am not sure what is going on an would like some help! Stuff had only came out of it once or twice and its not green or brown, is just like a dirty white color!

Well mine has a red bump on the top bit near the hole and it bled for the first time just now.. There is no puss or anything? Could that be an infection? Or is it just settling - it has only been like 10 weeks since I had it done!

It will be really red and possibly oozing some green discharge and be very painful.

I had my belly button pierced 2 days ago and its still fine no signs of infection or anything...yet ,
does this mean I'm definately not goin ta get an infection or is this how it will stay for a few days/weeks anyway ????? X
