In What Year Did Fulham Football Club First Win A Major Football Honour?

Fulham are one of the few premier league clubs to have never won a major footballing honour.  The height of the cottagers achievements to date is a runners up place in the nineteen seventy five FA cup final.  

The club has suffered in the past as being one of Londons smaller clubs, with near neighbours Chelsea considered the more fashionable side.  Despite their lack of sucess and relatively small following, the club has always attracted a good quality of player, with ex England manager Bobby Robson a former player, along with England legend Johnny Haynes, who to this day remains Fulham's most capped player.   Haynes eventually went on to collect fifty six caps for his country.  

After gaining promotion to the Premiership in the two thousand, two thousand and one season, the club has done little more than flirt with mid table, a ninth placed finish in the two thousand and three, four season their best to date.
