Why Does The U.S. Never Seem To Criticise Saudi Arabia?

Does being an oil rich nation excuse any wrong doing?

Criticize Saudi Arabia for what? Although America has very good terms and relations with Saudi Arabia I don't know any incident in which Saudia has violated any of the pacts and America did not intervene.

If we thought it was worth invading Iraq after 9/11 outraged at their sponsoring of terrorism... when no Iraqis were on board those planes... why when 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi... and Bin Laden to boot, do we not takes steps to stem the flow of terrorism from this Nation?

Canada is America's #1 source of oil, believe it or not, and we seem to find plenty of petty stupid and mean things to say about them on a regular basis, despite the fact that they are quite awesome.

As for the house of Saud, I'd say it has more to do with their usefulness to us as a large political power in the region, and not so much with oil
