    Is Upper Respiratory,contagious?I'm Fostering Kittens For The Aspca,and Kittens Seem Sick,and Im Worried About My Cats,but I Also Worry About Taking These Babies Back To Shelter,as Its A High Kill Shelter,what Else Can I Do???

    Take them to a vet! Upper respiratory infections can be very contagious.

      I agree, you need to take them to a vet. Most vets will give substantial discounts to foster parents. The ASPCA should also be giving you resources to help, and they should have a vet on call for you to take the kittens to.

      Yes! Upper respiratory infections are very contagious and can be deadly to young kittens whose immune system is not yet fully developed especially if they were taken from their mother too early. They should be checked by a vet as soon as possible and treated with antibiotics. Usually the ASPCA has a vet associated with them and will make the antibiotics readily available. Give them a call.

      Yes, it is air borne, and your cats may be infected already. There is no cure. It is for life. If your going to foster animals, you should protect yours first.
