Why Will Grass Not Grow Against The Foundation Of A House?
My mother's yard is beautiful, but almost as soon as the grass come up, it disappears from around the foundation almost overnight. She doesn't understand why.
Answers
My husband just said that there is creosote used in tar, that is used on the foundation to repel water from coming in. To fix it, use visqueen, dig around the foundation, and place it up against he foundation, fill the dirt back in, and reseed the area around the house. I really hope this helps you out, I know that it is going to be a lot of work, but it will be worth it if you do it. Please remember to leave your rating for this answer. God bless.
