If you are on a SPOUSE VISA to live in the United Kingdom then you should be okay to go on vacation to Belgium however you have to show proof that you are returning to the UK. Your passport should be stamped saying you are on a 2 year spouse visa for the UK. After two years you can apply for a permanent resident of the UK, as long as you are still married
