Is It Good For Educational Institutions That Their Students Get Involve In Political Activities?
1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating
I think it's good, providing teachers aren't telling students what ideologies to follow. Getting people interested in politics at an earlier age might help get more people to vote. Up to this last presidential election less than half of registered voters voted in many many years and the trend was declining. It's even worse for state and local elections. And then people complain about their government! I really don't see how they can complain when they don't vote, don't know who's in office most of the time, and don't know where a candidate or office holder stands on issues.
