When Do Fantail Goldfish Fertilized Eggs Hatch?
I have 4 fantails in a pond, I noticed very cloudy water one day last week ( I accused my kids of getting soap in it ) but then I noticed their behavior. From the looks of it, I have 2 female and 2 male. The males of course were chasing the females very aggressively. The next day, I had thousands of eggs stuck to all of the rocks. I understand the UNFERTILIZED eggs are white, and the FERTILIZED eggs are clear. How long does it take for them to hatch? Will they eat them? I cannot take them out now...

The fertilized eggs will hatch in 2 - 3 days. You have to provide them the optimum temperature that is 21 degree centigrade. If it is necessary to increase the temperature then do so. If they are not fertilized then they will not hatch at all. And you have to take them out at any cost because they will start eating them. If you are not able to take them out then contact your local pet store for help. Details
