What Are Some Cool Attractions In Akron?

Akron is in the Summit County in the state of Ohio. If you're planning a trip there or you're looking for something to do in your area then here's some favourites.

Number 1 - Akron Zoological Park

This zoo is just west of Akron town and consists of 50 acres in size. Akron Zoo boasts more than 700 animals. It's particularly gauged for looking after endangered species such as penguins, leopards, jaguars, Komodo dragons and tigers.

Number 2 - All-American Soap Box Derby

The All American Soap Box Derby is not to be missed. This makes for a great day for all the family. If you don't make your own soap box (basically a wooden box on wheels) then it's just as fun watch all the other crazy designs raced around the track.

Number 3 -  Harry London Chocolates

Lets face it we all love chocolate. For the past 84 years this chocolate factory has been in operation. The tour of the chocolate factory is tasty and you'll not want to miss the shop at the end. It has a wide range of candies and chocolate to suit all tastes... over 500!

Number 4 –  Good Park Golf Course

There's nothing quite like a game of golf. This park boasts 6683 yards of golfing action. The course has a rating of 72.

Number 5 – Laser Quest

Ok so maybe this is one for the kids. Although everyone can take part in the laser fun. Laser Quest has all you'd expect from Laser Tag game with fog, music and multi level arenas to run.. I mean walk around. ;)
