How Can I Tell If My Yahoo Account Has Been Deleted ?

I caught my wife receiving emails from several guys and confronteren her. She said that she would just delete her email address so I wouldn't have to worry. How can I check to see if her signing is deleted?

There is one way out. You can make a fake email address and then email her on the account. If the mail comes back to you with a failed delivery notification, that means the account has been deleted. Otherwise, she will receive an email.

As far as I know, I don't think Yahoo! Accounts can be deleted!! Once an account is opened in Yahoo!...it cannot be closed. What you can do is, tell your wife to sign in to her account in front of you. I am sure she will be signed in properly if she gave the accurate password for it and not a fake one. Once she is signed in, you go to her account and change her password. Let the new password be something very difficult..like for example, choosing randomly from a book containing name of cases, etc. In one word, choose something 'difficult' which she would never guess and it is also not necessary for you to remember. By the way, don't make her feel like a criminal. It may hurt her feelings and I am sure you won't like it as it shows that you love her a lot and want her to be yours only. Best of luck! :)

How is it not making her feel like a criminal if he changes her password. It's the same thing. Not everyone is open minded and feels comfortable with their spouse receiving emails from the opposite sex. I don't and neither does my husband.

You can delete a yahoo account. Not signing in for more that 30 days makes the account inactive. Contact the administrator about it. Or you can do as Aicha suggested and send an email from a email address she doesn't know that will let you know. Especially if she answers. Good luck.

Even I am not open-minded! I am just saying that he shouldn't be rude to her and act like a smaart detective! Just tell her that he would be happy and be relieved if he himself changes the password..and that he still trusts his wife that she won't do anything wrong. Thats what I meant! Even if the wife directly responsible for the e-mails of the other guys, she would be ashamed of her deeds and would know how much she is loved! And this is necessary for a healthy relationship!

Whatever happenes to casting the first stone. You don't know what is really going on so we shouldn't encourage him to do things like that. This is a trust issue that they need to work out on their own. If she lets him do that, what other changes will he make that could damage their marriage. They need to talk it out and she needs to explain herself. If they don't trust each other then their marriage will never work.
