There are thousands and thousands of Mexicans who attempt to the cross the border to America. Some of them try to go illegally but why do they risk everything?
The reason is for a better life or maybe to find jobs and to send money back to support their families. Mexicans choose to cross typically between the Arizona state line that borders with Texas, as this is the quickest route.
Currently Mexico is a relatively poor country with a troubled economic system, high unemployment, low wages and a generally low standard of living.
Jobs are very few and far between where citizens often work long and hard for minimal pay that’s not really enough to support their families. As America’s neighbour, the Mexicans see this as an opportunity to live the American dream " rich with capital, employment and opportunities.
The Mexican people see this as a chance to build a better and brighter future not only for themselves but for their family back home. If an immigrant is allowed into the US, Mexicans also view the American education system as a chance to better themselves and their children in the future.
This is further supported by a data report in 2003 stating that money sent from Mexican workers in the United States to their families back home reached a record $12 billion.
In 2005, the World Bank also stated that Mexico was receiving $18.1 billion in remittances and had a ranking of third behind only India and China among the countries receiving the greatest amount of remittances
Health care is another factor high on the agenda for Mexicans and is another underlying factor why they decide to cross the border. It’s also easy for Mexicans to converse as Spanish is now the second most spoken language in the United States.

Mexican people do not come here to take away nothing from nobody. They just come here because they want the welfare of their families. These people come to do the jobs that many American will never do like clean up the offices or the restrooms that of us use everyday. They did not came to invade this country they just came to work for themselves and their families .

Every day thousands and thousands of Mexican people cross the Mexico/United States border. They typically cross the border in Arizona or Texas and most enter the United States illegally. Many Mexican people come to the United States in search of work and a better life for themselves and their families. Mexico is a very poor country with a failing economy. If a person is lucky enough to have a job in Mexico, they work long, hard hours for very little pay. So, they come to the United States to make more money and they are willing to do any job for more money. Mexican people also come to the United States because they want to provide a better life for their families. In the United States, the Mexican family can receive a better education, better health care, and a better living condition than what they had in Mexico. Because of the thousands of Mexican immigrants that come to the USA, Spanish is now the second most spoken language in the United States.

This country is deep in blood for the rights and opportunities that it has. Other country's can stand up and fight for rights just like this one did. And for someone that wants to better their living condition they sure are some nasty people and they don't mind destroying other people's property while milking this country for what they can get.

I think that they come to America  for a better life and that's what a lot of people say but it is so true some say its to smuggle drugs and in some cases they do want to smuggle drugs, but how often do you hear about a Mexican trying to smuggle drugs over here, just think about that.....well do you see where I'm coming from start thinking about the good things, every body in my class is always picking out the bad thing about them coming to America and one of my friend's that is a Mexican and she was getting upset because every body was picking on her just because she was a Mexican. Some kid's parents disagree about the teachers teaching  about immigration and emigration and immigrants, but you hear about more Mexicans trying to come to America for a better life and for economic reasons than to smuggle drugs.
