First, you should check that your printer is compatible with windows vista or not. You can visit Epsom website. If your printer is compatible with windows vista then you can install the printer. You should install printer driver from printer driver disc. If you have not printer driver software disc then you can download and install printer driver software from Epsom website according to printer model number and windows operating system.
Just insert the disc and double click on setup.exe file and follow the instruction.
After running some setup a message will appear on the screen " Please attach the printer" that time you should attach your printer to the computer and switch on the printer.
Second method, you can open printer option.
Start > control panel > printer.
click on Add printer and follow the instruction.
You should also make sure that your printer is detecting or not.
