I have a male shitzu he is now 10 months old, I got him when he was 8 weeks old, and he is still not trained, if I'm not watching him he will go in the house, he just doesn't know how to tell us if he has to go outside to potty. I believe the smaller dog the harder to train. But there are exceptions.
