What Insect Or Rodent Gnaws At A Treated Wood Deck?
My deck has a hole through a board about the size of a silver dollar. Also, the wood at the bottom of the board has been pulled away from the edge in roughly 2 - 3 " pieces and is hanging there. Is this something that a boring insect, or a rodent (squirrel), would do?

It could be shrews, hard to say, they are destructive little critters! I don't think that termites and ants are too particularly going to get sick from treated wood either, I would contact an exterminator, or try some home remedies with insecticides, but you do want to look for the ones that aren't going to be bad for pets and people.
