    A vehicle basically is a non-living way of transportation. They are usually man-made, but certain types of transportations which are not man made are also referred to as vehicles.

    Over the period of years vehicle manufactures have taken steps to ensure the safety of the person controlling the vehicle. Most modern vehicles have safety gadgets installed in them like air-bags and seat belts so that in case an accident takes place minimum damage is caused to passengers on board the vehicle.  

    Nearly all land vehicles have wheels; the term vehicle is derived from the Latin expression vehiculum.

    Initially vehicles used to be animal driven, but as technology progressed engines replaced animals and now days nearly all vehicles work with the help of engines fitted in them.
