How Likely Is The Trachia Injured In Thyroidectomy?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Not too sure about trachia, although when I had a thyroidectomy, the doctor severed one of my vocal cords.  I wish I had sued but allowed too much time to pass.  I wasn't aware of the 3 yr statute of limitations for a medical malpractice suit.  For more than twenty years now, I cannot scream for the life of me.  Also, I cannot talk at length for too long without feeling pain in my throat.  Forget about singing!!!
