I am gay and I am a high school graduate and lots of people had extreme hate against me because of who I was but I didn't care,does anyone know why do so many people hate gay and lesbian people,they are human beings too.

Tamarind is right people fear what they don't understand. The only reason people "hate" anything is because they either don't understand it and are therefore threatened by it or as more common in this case they dont want to understand it.
A big issue for a lot of people is the homosexual tendacies in us all, massive amount of denile turn people hostile as everyone hates seeing the truth about themselves and seeing gay people walking around forces them to face it.

Their hate is coming from their pride. Some people are against it because they think it shouldn't be legal. Others thinks it's just a matter of opinion. Me i don't really thinks it's all that bad. I mean.... I'm bi! So i have no problem with it really.

People seem to dislike what they don't understand, especially if it is out of the norm. I'm not saying it's right or it's wrong because I am not their judge.
Scientists have been doing studies on the human brain, and still there are many things they do not know about it.
I did see a scientific study done on the brains of some gay males. The study concluded that the majority of these men had the same attributes in their brain as females do. So, who's is to say?

In my own opinion, this is wrong and we should avoid it. The nature tells us that opposite should attract each other. And anything against the law of nature is not justified.
