My Cat Started To Sneeze And Wheezing Today And I Was Just Wondering If It Is The Flu? If Not What Is It?

The cat is a rescue so we don't know how old he really is but I have never seem him sneeze or wheeze in the past 5 years we have owned him. My other cat died last year from a heart disease and he doesn't seem to be showing any similar symptoms. So I was wondering if he has the flu or something different?

Hi, it is possible that your cat got fever or flu or chest infection, so kindly take her to doctor for proper examination and proper medicine. Your last cat died from heart disease so don't ignore this and take her to doctor as soon as possible.

rhinotracheitis virus (Herpes-1) and Calicivirus viruses are most common reasons of cat sneezing. Most often it is contracted upper
respiratory tract infection. The incubation lasts for 2 to 6 days. For details about reasons of sneezing in cats, visit this link.
