I haven't been to the mainland but I have been to Taiwan many times. It is a great little island with excellent locally run seafood restaurants, friendly Chinese people as well as a few tribes of indigenous people. In Taipei there is the Taipei Fine Arts Museum of Taiwan and the National Palace Museum. If you get a chance visit Taiwan while on your trip. |
