How To Reset System?
I put in a new key switch. Engine will start, but engine won't stay running.

What was the car doing before you changed out the ignition switch? If it was doing nothing before you switched it out then i would say you did not install the switch properly or it is a faulty switch. Hope this helps.

I don't know if this would still hold true from replacing the ignition switch but I do know that in Chrysler autos that you have to reset the switch if your battery goes dead or the terminals are disconnected. Check your owners manual. There should be instructions on how to reset the switch .
