Very little.    Up to the age of 30, well over half his age, only four facts are known about him. That he was born, married, and was the father of three children, two of whom were twins. George Steevens, an 18th century Shakespearean commentator says; "He was born, married, fathered children, worked in London, retired, made his will, died and was buried, apart from that we know hardly anything at all about him!"  He was an intensely private man. During his lifetime, 50 individuals were put up as being him, simply because nobody knew him!  Any documented proof of his existence, is pounced upon by scholars and historians, desperate to know all they can!(There are only 6 known instances of his signature).  He liked to drink, and, after his youngest daughter's,(Juliet's ) wedding, he went on a serious drinking session, with two very good friends, the playwrights Michael Drayton and Ben Johnson. He caught a chill through this, and went to bed, learning, almost immediately, of the death of his brother-in-law! If that weren't enough, his brand new son-in-law, Thomas Quiney, was declared to be the father of a daughter born to Margaret Wheeler, who died, along with her baby, in childbirth!   The drink, and the shocks of his brother-in-law and now this, is said to have killed Shakespeare. Hope this helps?
