What Is That Watery Liquid Stuff That Covers A Cut After It Bleeds?

What is that watery liquid stuff that covers a cut after it bleeds? It's not blood... It's clear. Do you know what it is? Does it help make the scab? I don't like it...

It's your body trying to fight off infection. When you get a cut or scratch, you should think about it like this, your skin has just been assaulted. It isn't a natural thing for your skin to have lesions and injuries. When you get a cut, the natural thing that your body does is attack what has just invaded to keep you healthy and safe from the germs and diseases that can make you sicker, or worse. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I suppose that makes sense. I guess I was really just wondering. Yeah, it's kind of weird, almost watching it accumulate. Anyways, I suppose you don't want those details... Thanks again!
