What Kinds Of Different Facial Plastic Surgery Are There And What Do They Cost In The UK?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It is possible to have cosmetic surgery to change the shape and appearance of any part of your face. The most common operations are facelifts, ear corrections, eyelid reduction and nose reshaping. All have to be carried out under general anaesthetic and require a stay of at least one night, sometimes more in a hospital.

The vast majority of plastic surgery in the UK is performed in private hospitals and there is a substantial cost involved that is required to cover doctors and nurses and all the equipment, use of an operating theatre, anaesthetic and drugs.

Nose reshaping starts at about £3200, ear correction surgery, or otoplasty at about £1100. Eyelid reduction for both eyelids comes to at least £3000 although it is possible to have only the upper eyelids or the lower eyelids done for about £2500. A complete facelift will set you back between £4000 and £9000 and a brow lift or neck lift are about £3000 each.
