I see no problem with the belief that man created God , in fact i believe that God in all the forms (religions) in the world is the very old need of man to answer the questions that man kind have no answers , and the first question was : Why we die ?
From that simple question become the need to create an God . In fact you can see how most of the religions are based on death cult , beeing Catholic belief one of the finest examples for that .

Devinewolf, I do believe you have hit the nail directly on the head, so to speak. Yes, man essentially was compelled to invent something to explain natural phenomenon that he is unable to do on his own, existence and consciousness just being the primary concepts with there being more specific concrete and specific examples, as simple as thunder and lightening when we were just starting to think conceptually, to how did the universe start, e.g., the big bang. I have always put forth the proposition that if you can argue that god has always existed or was the beginning of everything, where did he come from and that there must first be existence before consciousness.
People created a god to explain natural phenomenon, to answer questions, or as a scapegoat for things. It is evident in the 21st century that there is no god, because we finally have the right equipement and knowledge to find out the real answer to things. It is extremely saddening to know that there are A LOT of people who still beleive in the simplistic ignorant beleif of god.

Man never created God, God created man and the earth for a purpose. God is the greatest creator and He gave man the gist,freewill to choose thier path in life.Man can use that gift to create things on the earth such as weapons, amongst other things, but not God Himself.
God's purpose was for man to life on the earth, therefore, when he created man, He created them only with love, not hate or anything bad.Since Adam and Eve, who broke the bond between God and choose freewill by disobeying God, all badness spread throughout out the earth, which started with Adam's first born son Cain who killed his brother out of jealousy, that where it all started, sin.Why we die? That part of it, Adan and Eve was given st rick instruction which they disobeyed,therefore, they could no longer reside in the garden of Eden. Instead, they were thrown out and as they had disobeyed, they could no longer live forever as God intended,therefore, that why we grow old and die.We are no longer protected from death, because of disobedience.

Not true God created man in his image. How can man create something with first having some one to Create him.Check the book of Genesis 1chaper read all the way through and you will find out in the 26 verse that God created you.japeace
You are playing with your eternal soul. And the Lord exists, whether you believe in HIM or not...If your computer told your phone that "Jhazmenz doesnt exist, because i never saw him in binary code,I created myself!"; what would you say...
I had to read this comment twice, at first I misread it, as I think Japeace did. This guy is actually saying that God created man, but man created false gods...
