The diet of turtles is depended on the temperature of their surroundings in warm days they will eat lot as there digestion depends on the temperature
and in cold days there digestive system becomes very low regarding your question about what to give in diet they are omnivorous in nature they will
eat both meat and vegetables but there favorite diet is fish.

What kind of turtle do u have? That greatly depends on what u feed it. I have a baby snapper and he is a water turtle. He eats only meat. I feed him when ever he acts hungry. About 3 times a day. He eats turtle food and raw meat. But I have had box turtles who eat only veggies. They don't eat as much and it depends on the weather or the temp of their surroundings. I'm not sure but I think over 70 degrees they eat a lot but under 70 degrees they hardly eat at all and it is all veggies. Lettuce, clover, just about anything out of the yard.
