Where Is Dahlia Hill And What Is It?
Answers
Dahlia Hill is a giant flower garden in Mid-land Michigan. It is located near a park called
Emerson Park. The garden is on a hill that you can see as you are driving past on the road. Or you can also enjoy it when riding your bike or walking on the near by rail trail.
This park opens the first of July and stays open until the first frost of the year. We walked though the flowers last year. There is roll after roll of every kind of dahlias. They are beautiful. We have been there a few times when the volunteers were weeding and watering the garden. That was an inspiration to see.
The garden is funded by a non-profit organization, which had grown from 34 -43 members last summer. There is a place for donations in a small box there.
If you want to appreciate nature, and beauty, and likewise the dedication of a group of people working together for a common cause. that is the perfect place to visit.
