When Do I Teach Kittens To Eat On Their Own?
My kittens are 4 weeks old.

You can start them out on soft food only for a few days until their digestion tract is used to solid food. But then you want to change their diet to hard food most of the time, without changing the brand on them.
It's recommended that you keep them on a continual diet, not changing it, because it can not only cause a finicky cat, but a very thin one with health problems.
Right about now, they should start having solid bowel movements, so you want to take them to the litter box several times a day, until they get the idea of what they're supposed to do in there. Hope this helps, pet them once for me.
