A crusade is defined as a campaign. It is basically a series of actions that promote a cause or a principle and tend to move towards a particular aim or objective. People who take part in crusades must not only be passionate about the cause they are promoting, but they must also play an active role in making it a success. They can do this by taking efforts in a relentless, continuous, vigorous and obtrusive manner.

A crusade needs person to be extremely focused and committed towards achieving the end results. They must not only strongly advocate a cause and stand for it at every stage of the crusade, but also believe in it totally (even personally, which includes having an opinions about issues close to their hearts) in order to make it a success. A crusade is generally a campaign which involves efforts to be taken on a war-footing and an aggressive stance.
