    The well known radio presenter Jonathan Ross whose name has become synonymous with BBC currently presents an early morning show on BBC Radio 2 every Saturday; he has in the past worked as a presenter for BBC Radio 1 and Virgin Radio which included a brief stint for The Super Station a now defunct commercial radio network service.

    In 2005 the Radio Times named Jonathan Ross the most important person on British Radio ahead of Terry Wogan, Chris Moyles and John Humphreys. Ross was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the same year for his services to the field of broadcasting.

    He has also been a leading presenter on television with the BBC One chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and cinema review program Film 2006 being as popular as ever. He has recently signed a contract with the BBC making him the highest paid personality in his field at present; the contract ensures that he would be a part of the BBC until 2010 with the signing amount being 18 million pounds.
