How Do I Convince My Mom To Let Me Keep One Of My Friend's Baby Mice?

My friend's mouse got pregnant and had babies, and I really want one. We have the right stuff to keep it and I tried to show my responsibility and it didn't work . Can I get some lines to say to her because my sister's hamster died, my mom won't let ME get a rodent. PLEASE, I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!
