How A Diet High In Animal Fat May Lead To Coronary Heart Disease?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Animal fat contains high cholesteral , this over time, sticks to the arteries and clogs them up so that blood flow is impared. As the artery gets narrower the blood cannot flow easily and at the rate it should. The pain that is felt on exertion is caused because the blood cannot flow, this is called angina. Also if cholesteral has built up causing narrowing of the artery, blood forcing itself through the blocked artery can tear off cholesteral pieces which will travel to the heart causing heart attack.
