This is a tricky situation. Think about why it is you want to move. If it is because you are bored with the area, then perhaps you could consider decorating your house so that it gives some variety. If you wish to move because you live in a particularly rough area and you are concerned for your childrens safety, then this is a fair enough reason to move, and you should tell your husband to rethink things.
Perhaps you should have more family outings. That way, the house won't seem as boring when you return to it. Perhaps your husband doesn't want to move because of his job. It can be extremely hard to settle down in a new area, find a new job and make new friends.
Perhaps you could spend a little longer saving up so that you can move in a few years' time. If your husband still doesn't want to move by that stage, then perhaps you could suggest moving to an area that isn't too far away from your friends and his workplace.
In a few years' time, your children will be older, and may even be at that stage where they can start making their own decisions. If this is the case, then they shouldn't have a problem with you moving, as they can easily move out and stick around the area.
