What Do I Need To Start A Business As An Owner Operator Besides The Truck?

I Got My Cdl Just Over A Year Ago. I Drove For A Company For Almost 9 Months . Then Got Sick And Have Not Driven Since. I Had An Opportunity To Buy A Truck At An Incredibly Low Price, And Did. Now What?

You haven't specified what type of truck you have or what weight it can hold but if it's more that 7.5 ton you will need an operators licence which you will have to apply for from your Area Traffic Office.

That would the CDL I got over a year ago. I have a 2000 Freightliner Century Classic. The tractor alone, which is all I have., weighs approximately 12,000 lbs. It is designed to pull a 53 foot dry or reefer trailer with a total weight not exceeding 80,000 lbs.
