Who Had The First Idea To Invent A Car?

    The first idea of a car is attributed to Nicolas Joseph Cugnot of France in 1769. Then to find the man that actually  built the first working gasoline automobile  one that actually  was drivable, most  unbiased experts agree it was Karl Benz of Germany. He built the car in 1885 and received the Pattent on 1-29-86 and in 1899 it produced 572 cars becoming the worlds largest automobile co.
